About Jazzy Mae's

 A little about me. I’m Carly the Founder and Clinical Director of Jazzy Mae’s, Advanced Aesthetics clinic in Sheffield. 

Jazzy Mae’s was named as a nod to my 2 little girls Lilly Mae and Jasmine (Jazzy) Dee. The reason for working so hard has always been to give them the best possible start in life. You will also find my “better” half and partner in crime David in the clinic on occasion as he has recently joined me, managing the wholesale side of the business. 

My career in Aesthetics started in 2018, but my career in beauty - right back in 2002, in that time I have worked hard to get the training, experience and advanced knowledge to not only be able to provide exceptional services, but train others in the industry to this high standard too. 

Experience

Over the years I have gained many qualifications which have led me to this point in my life. I have a Masters Degree in Business Accountancy and Higher Level Marketing Campaign Management, but beauty has been my passion since I was 17 when I trained for my NVQ Level 3. 

As well as my career in Beauty and Aesthetics, I am a NAP registered Phlebotomist and previously worked at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. Along with being fully qualified in Advanced Aesthetics, I am also trained in emergency first aid and anaphylaxis which means I’m also competent and insured to administer emergency medication should it be needed. 

Aesthetics

Being so passionate about Aesthetics, I have also completed training in Anatomy and Physiology Levels 3 and 4 and more recently the Level 5 and Level 7 degree in Aesthetics. This qualification is an Ofqual registered degree and is the highest internationally recognised qualification in our industry.

I am qualified in advanced fillers for all areas of the face and anti wrinkle injections which can also be used for medical reasons like Hyperhidrosis, Bruxism, Bels Palsy and Migraine management amongst other things.  

We also offer many other aesthetic services including PDO threads and the new Fractional Laser Plasma treatment. 

Training

With such a huge portfolio of knowledge, I wanted to be able to support others getting in to the industry, which is why I went on to gain my AET (award in education and training) and my CET (certificate in education and training) as well as accreditation’s with IPHM, CPD and the Guild. These qualifications enable me to teach any of the subjects I’m qualified in at NVQ level or higher. All my teaching is Ofqual recognised.

I offer training in Dermal Fillers and Anti Wrinkle Complication every month, to practitioners within our industry, this is something I love!

As well as training others in the Aesthetics industry, I continue to develop my own skills, training at least twice a year in most of the procedures I offer, so I can continue to deliver the best results in the safest possible way. 

Safety

The most important thing for me, is the safety of my customers, as well as the reputation of my business and the Aesthetics industry as a whole. 

Jazzy Mae’s is one of only a handful of Aesthetic clinics in the UK who hold an agreement with a local Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) centre. This emergency treatment is more commonly used to speed up healing of Carbon Monoxide poisoning, Gangrene, wounds that won't heal and infections when tissues are starved for oxygen. This is a very expensive treatment but in the event that one of my customers had a serious complication I ensure that the very best emergency care is available. 

I offer my support to my customers 24/7 and will always continue to give what I believe is an unrivalled after care service.
